Mevlana Ceylon tea is a type of black tea that is collected and processed as large tea leaves from the tea plantations in the highlands of Sri Lanka. Due to the type of cultivation and the different effects of the climatic conditions, Ceylon tea has a high-quality, aromatic flavour. It is the monsoon rains and the oceanic breeze that flavour the tea leaves. These tea leaves are rolled to their full length. They are 8–15 mm long and have twisted leaf buds.
